Note: The TP-Link Omada ER7212PC is a 3-in-1 Gigabit VPN Router that combines a router, 8-port Gigabit PoE+ switch and integrated Omada SDN Controller. It provides 2 × Gigabit SFP WAN/LAN ports, 1 × Gigabit RJ45 WAN port, 1 × Gigabit RJ45 WAN/LAN port and 8 × Gigabit PoE+ LAN ports with a 110W total PoE budget. The V2 hardware features a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, 2GB DDR4 memory and 8GB eMMC storage.
Important: The ER7212PC is not simply a PoE switch. It combines Router + PoE+ Switch + Omada Controller in one device. The 8 LAN ports provide PoE+ output, with a total budget of 110W. The device can manage up to 24 Omada devices in the current V2 specification.
