Archer D9 เป็นเราเตอร์ + โมเด็ม ADSL2+ แบบ Dual-Band จาก TP-Link ที่รองรับมาตรฐาน 802.11ac ให้ความเร็วรวมสูงสุด 1,900 Mbps (600 Mbps บน 2.4 GHz + 1,300 Mbps บน 5 GHz) มาพร้อมโปรเซสเซอร์ 1 GHz แบบ Dual-Core เพื่อรองรับการทำงานพร้อมกันหลายงาน ทั้งการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตแบบไร้สายและแบบสาย เสาอากาศภายนอก 3 ต้น ถอดได้ พร้อมแอมป์กำลังสูง ช่วยขยายสัญญาณ Wi-Fi ให้ครอบคลุมมากขึ้น นอกจากนี้มีพอร์ต USB 3.0 และ USB 2.0 สำหรับแชร์ไฟล์ ไดรฟ์ หรือเครื่องพิมพ์ผ่านเน็ตเวิร์ก และรองรับการเชื่อมต่อผ่าน Ethernet WAN (EWAN) ในกรณีที่ใช้โมเด็มไฟเบอร์ / เคเบิล ระบบรักษาความปลอดภัยมี Guest Network, Parental Control, Firewall, IPv6, และผู้ใช้สามารถจัดการผ่านเว็บอินเทอร์เฟซหรือแอป TP-LINK Tether ได้ง่าย ๆ
